Ahead of its landing in Bangkok, Thailand, KCON is raising expectations by unveiling its signature and locally specialized conventions and shows that will captivate the global GEN Z. The event organizers have prepared an abundance of attractions by strengthening audience-oriented conventions and artist special shows tailored to the active tendencies of the Thai K-POP fandom.
KCON 2023 THAILAND will be held at 'Impact Arena' and 'Impact International Exhibition Center' in Bangkok for two days (local time) from the 18th to the 19th. The show will be held at the Impact Arena, and the convention program will be held at the Impact International Exhibition Center.
KCON 2023 THAILAND consists of local-specific content that caters to the tastes of the global generation Z, as well as signature conventions and shows that can only be found at KCON. At the convention, KCON's signature 'POPPIA' experience, which has been continued since 'KCON 2022 LA', will be enhanced by upgrading KCON's signature content. With the theme of 'POPPIA', the space is composed of photo zones and F&B zones suitable for the taste of Generation Z.
Contents that K-POP fandom can directly participate in, such as quiz shows and random play dances, and artist-linked programs such as talk and beauty shows featuring artists are strengthened so that Gen Z can enjoy K-culture culture, form bonds, and have fun. planned.
The show enhances the immersion of local audiences and expands the K-culture experience with a signature stage configuration that can only be found at KCON. First, the girl group version of KCON's signature song 'POPPIA' will be released for the first time. The dream stage of BamBam & Youngjae from GOT7 is also waiting for fans. Together with local fans, they will decorate the collaboration stage of GOT7's 'Hard Carry'.
On the stage of 'GEN Z POP Playlist', dance crew Ambition, which is enjoying global popularity, will present a special performance. You can only experience it at KCON, such as the first public stage of a new song that has not yet been released.
'Meet and Grit', a content that has become KCON's signature content both in name and reality, and where artists meet their fans, consists of talks and games that can maximize intimacy between artists and fans based on the concept of a city tour.
CJ ENM selected 28 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to advance into the 'K-Collection', a joint venture support project for large and small businesses, along with the Ministry of Small and Medium Business Ventures and the Large, Small and Medium Enterprises, Agriculture and Fisheries Cooperation Foundation. During this K-Con, they will show their products directly to global consumers in the 'K-Collection' zone in the 'Impact International Exhibition Center' in Bangkok, and hold promotional events to experience the reaction of the site, seeking ways to advance overseas.
BamBam was appointed as the ambassador of this 'K-Collection'. BamBam is a representative Korean Wave idol with explosive popularity and influence in Thailand. Accordingly, BamBam's booth event and mini fan meeting will be held in the 'K-Collection' zone.
